Stress Analysis Colour Code

I have managed to perform a stress analysis on a part (which only 1/4 of it is shown due to its symmetry). Upon running the simulation and displaying the results for Von Mises Stres, all the part has been fully coloured in blue, and there are no signs of any red areas. However, the bar line on the left still indicates that there are areas which are highly stressed. I'm now confused weather if there any areas of the part are exhbiting this type of stress, and if yes, how can I locate the most highly stressed parts? Thanks.

I can't speak to the actual analysis but this should answer your immediate question.

The part is very poorly constructed.

Do you have time to re-model the part (with step-by-step instruction) from scratch?

My problem is, does it make sense to consider that the part will fail, if the area is almost negligable?

I believe you are correct. I shall try to reconstruct the part, but this time I will ensure proper construction. Thanks for your help!

Do you need help in identifying the problems?

Start by constraining Sketch1 and all other sketches.

I don't think  you have done your loft correctly.

There are disjointed faces all over the part.

The part is not symmetrical about the origin (but it appears the design intent was for symmetry).

The slice is not symmetrical.

The FEA is not set up correctly.

I think I will reconstruct the part from the begininng since I might skipped a few crucial steps, since I wasn't aware of the the problems which might occur with FEA. Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi

you must use the bar color seting and change the max value
