Specifying the degrees of angle in dynamic simulation

I have a situation where i have two round plates ,1 fixed and 1 allowed to rotate about its axis, the plates have a series of holes  which act as ports for the transfer of air.

I have created a dynamic simulation to show the plate rotating so that at any point in time the relation of one port to another can be viewed, its also a method of showing the basic concept to the customer.

The problem i have at present is restricting the degrees of angle say to 45 degrees of rotation,at the moment the degrees of rotation seem to be  360 degrees or over, where do you define the required angle ,is it defined by velocity over time or is it much simpler.

Any suggestions please.

Can you attach your assembly here?
