Snaps not working in sketch mode of a dwg

I have a user who sketches in views in a dwg.

In the past, he was able to snap to midpoint, end point, center...etc...

Since yesterday this functionality is not working.

I opened the same drawing and started a new sketch with one of his views, and I can snap, but he still cannot.

He opened another drawing where the snaps were working, but it doesn't anymore.

Anyone else have this issue?

We are using Inventor 2011.

OK....took awhile but I found the option.

APPLICATION OPTIONS - SKETCH (tab) - "Autoproject edges during curve creation".

I always thought the SKETCH (tab) was for .ipt sketches, so I never thought of looking there...but apparently I was wrong...I guess it applies to all sketches whether its an .ipt, .iam, .idw, or .dwg.
