Sketched Symbol - ASSEMBLY NUM

Hello,
I have an Assembly X which has subassmblies Y and Z
I have a drawing of assembly X I have a sketch symbol created to show
part number when a leader is attached to a part. How can I show up Y and Z part numbers/assemgly numbers in drawing and not the parts inside Y and Z

Hi Ktelang,

the leader text will always display the values of that part you attached your leader to.

But you can solve the issue by using the balloons.

Create a new Balloon Style in Styles Editor and pick the part number to display with the balloon.

After that you can place your balloons and switch to your new balloon style. Now the part number of the assembly is shown. If you select the linear shape in the balloon style your balloon will look like a leader text.

That's the result:

Do you think this would work for you?

If so, please use the button "Accept as Solution".
