Sheetmetal functionality not available...

A coworker of mine created a part in sheetmetal...he has several folds, bends, etc in his browser, but the only menu choices available are the modeling tools....no more sheetmetal tools.

The option does not show up on the toolbar options list, either. Anyone have any insight into why this happened and what to do about it?

I think that should be under the Applications
pull-down rather than the Tools pull-down.

Your cow orker probably did a Applications->Modeling from the sheetmetal
enviroment.

Calmly goto the workstation and do a Applications->Sheet Metal then when
they least suspect it, wack them on the head with the 26th edition of
the Machinery's Handbook.

Quinn,

I highly recommend one of the older versions of MHB. If you do it with too much zeal you could have complications. The older books with the rough textured cover don't pick up finger prints like the new glossy covered ones such as you mentioned. Other than that you had a fine answer.

Surely his faux pas only warrants a swat with the latest, newly designed copy of Design News

All right!

Now I just have to do the World Cup and see if I'm on a roll.

The large print edition I bought one with the CD the other day. Man
that is one big book. I also loaded the CD on my puter. I love the CD
layout. If I known it was that well done, I would have just orderd the CD
and kept on useing the toolbox size I had.
