Sheet Metal Flat Pattern in Drawing

I am using inventor 7. After installing SP1 the bend lines for a flat
pattern in a drawing are not longer dashed , they are now solid. The
drawing are not really clear when these lines are not dashed. Can anyone
please help me.

Your turn Autodesk, tell him why is bend lines are WRONG!

Okay, it's not your fault. I will give you the bad news.

R7 line scale was based on the part scale not paper space so you had to
change the global scale to compensate. R7 SP1 fixed this problem, BUT they
hosed the bend line scale in the unfold views and frankly, I have no idea
how to fix it nor will I try.

Go back to R6 if you got it.

I noticed this the day we installed SP1 and ask the same question. The text
below is a post I got from Garin Gardiner at AutoDesk. As for a work around
RMB and change the line type to chain is all I know of to do. If anyone else
has a better way that would be great.

I have logged a defect on this issue. Several issues were fixed in SP1 with
line types not scaling correctly although it looks like there are still a
few outstanding issues with sheet metal bend lines.

Thanks for the post.

It's an extra step but here's how I've been getting around it: Select the bend line and right click - then go to properties - then select dashed (just use the shift key to multiple select and do all your bend lines in one operation)
note: for some odd reason, sometimes this needs to be done - sometimes not
