Sheet Metal Cylinder

I am having trouble trying to figure out how to roll up a sheet metal piece into a full, 360 degree cylinder. Could anyone instruct me, or point me to the proper online tutorial.

Thank you,
Brad

Thanks Joe, but I guess I needed to clarify a bit more. I need to do the reverse of your situation. I have a flat pattern that already has cutouts, which needs to be rolled into a cylinder. Can this be done in inventor? Brad

See CF for a way to cheat.  You can use the
fold command to curl a flat piece of metal.  I just made up some radii so
it's not a 360 cyl but you get the idea...

Maybe some of the sheetmetal masters have a better
idea...

Thanks, Sean. I checked out your example and was able to duplicate it. Brad.

Sorry Sean,
would like to see your example. I am new to this format. What is CF and how do I get there.

If you are new to the NG I would suggest reading
the FAQ I post weekly.  Search for *** and you'll find it.  It has
lots of other good info.

Cheers!
