Saving additional Materials to IV

I have a part file that has additional Materials added to the Properties
Box, how do I go about saving these to IV so that when I create a new part
they will be there along with the OEM materials?

OK I got that far - should I be doing something with these in there, maybe
copying them to a system file? I do a Format>Organizer and then it gives me
the list on the right and blank on the left.

Do this while you have your template file open. In this dialogue browse to
the file that contains the new materials. Select all the ones in the left
and move them to the right.

You can do this for colors as well.

If you have old files that you want these materials in you could use either Color and
Material Transfer or Copy n Set Materials macros from my site.
