Revision Table Author

For my the revision table, I use a couple of fields. The one i'm having problems with is the Author field. Within Inventors Tools/Application Options under the General Tab, my user name is my 3 letter initials. Once I pop in a Revision History Table on an IDW, it uses my full name or my Windows Login I.D. I BELIEVE this problem was fixed in 5.3, but it has came back to haunt me in 6.0 & 7.0. Is this something that has to be changed within the windows XP settings/user i.d. or can this be fixed within Inventor????? Thank You

There is a setting under Application Options that lets you change username. When
you create a new part, it should use that as author.

Dave, I think you caught your mistake. My 3 initials ARE under the Application Options, but my user name within XP is different the my initials within Inventor. The problem is within the revision block author column. Its currently using what is in XP. Our network guy is not changing my username anytime soon.

Lets look at I-properties within a template titleblock IDW. I use the Author I-Properties. This setting is controlled within the Application Options General Tab. Now look at the Revision Author tab, THIS setting is NOT controlled from within INVENTOR. Its controlled from WIN XP. This is the problem. Autodesk, are you listening!!
