Representations

Hi All

I have designed a box to contain electrical components. The box has a door, and I want to show the box with the door open showing the components inside and another with it closed showing the method of locking.

I thought Representations would be the best way to do this, but I can’t create them as the 'new' (and other icons) are greyed out on the browser.

How do I create a Representation?

(I've looked in the help and the first thing it tells me to do is click on the greyed out icon)

Would this happen to be a weldment?  If so, then weldments do not allow positional representations.

If you want to use representations, yes.  Another option might be to place an angulat constraint and create

an iassembly.  One with the door open and one with the door closed.
