Hi bhahn,
You can right-click on one of the ordinate dimensions and deselect Hide Origin Indicator from the list.
I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

You can delete the view and make a new view and re-dimension without using a plain ordinate.
Chain Ordinates don't bring that piece of clumsy code along.
After tripping over these after "Replace Model", I just dumped the view and started from scratch. I re-appears from being "Hidden".
So much for automation. This is cluncky.
I don't think there was any actual problem identified in the previous conversation that needed to be fixed. What is it that you hoped would happen in the intervening nine years?

Allow users to delete the Datum mark. This is a nuisance during the Replace Model Reference command.
It reappears when the dimensions become dissociated from a part they reference.
I then has to be hidden again.
How exciting. One of my early posts from way back when I was just learning Inventor has sprung back up. I see that I never properly thanked everyone for their help in a problem I no longer really remember. I guess I've gotten used to Inventor's idiosyncrasies at this point!
