Relink view in exploded/presentation

I hid a part or something in a presentation drawing.

This was withint the presentation environment.

It asked if I wanted to remove associativty.

I did.

Now I want to put it back.

How do I turn it back on?

Basically, I've added new parts and they won't show up in the presentation exlosion.

Hi jameswillo,

There is not a way to re-link the association once broke, as far as I know. You can create a new exploded view, using the Create View button and use the Options button to ensure that you are setting it to be associative, and that you are referencing the correct View Representation and/or Level of Detail Representation.

Your statement that parts won't show up, leads me to believe that you are adding parts in one Level of Detail in the assembly file, but the presentation file is using a different Level of Detail Representation. If this sounds likely, then you can likely get the parts to show up in your current Explosion view by modifying that Level of Detail in the assembly file.

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis
