Registration?

I just installed inventor 7 and cannot get it to accept the registration code. I called Autodesk for the code after the internet authorization failed and got the code but it still will not work.

FYI, when I recieved my Inventor 7 upgrade, it came
with a new S/N and CD Code compared to my existing package.  When I
installed it on a fresh computer with those numbers, no problem.  But when
it came time to install it on my main workstation which already had R6, it
wouldn't accept the authorization code.  Problem turned out to be that they
shipped me someone elses package and that someone else got my package. 
Luckily I knew the "someone else" and we just swapped boxes and I used my old
S/N and CD Code.

I got it figured out. I had to delete the license key information for a different serial of inventor 6, uninstall inventor 7 and reinstall it.

Just one of the problems with getting a second hand computer.
