Recess Action Gear Design

I am currently working in IV2012 and have a need to design Recess Action Gears. We have been doing this for years with a DOS based program but this is getting harder to use as technology advances. Can this be done in Inventor? Any recommendations are appreciated.

From Manual of Gear Design: Helical and Spiral Gears, Volume III
Recess Action Gear

RECESS ACTION GEARS, ALSO KNOWN AS LONG AND SHORT ADDENDUM GEARING, INCREASES THE ADDENDUM ON THE DRIVER AND REDUCES IT ON THE FOLLOWER TO OBTAIN AS MUCH RECESS ACTION AS POSSIBLE. THIS INCREASES THE EFFICIENCY AND WEAR LIFE OF THE GEARS. SEE SECTION TWO, P. 52.

What problem do you anticpate having with Inventor in doing these designs?
