Is ther a quick way to remove lines in the .idw that is part of the .idw but you don't want it displayed in the drawing. I'm not talking about just removing hidden lines. Basically the same thing as supressing features.
Inventor 2013
Thanks!
If you're talking about hiding whole parts, the best way is to expand the model tree for the view in question, highlight the parts there and toggle the visibility. You can "hide" whole parts, assemblies... change the layer or linetype of them etc.

It's a single part. The only way I know how to do this would be to save it as a .dxf or something and edit the drawing in AutoCad.
The other thing you could do is create View Reps in your model, and use those in your idw. That way you can actually suppress features, and show your model in various states in the idw's. For example before and after machining a particular feature. These get saved with the model, so you can use them again and again.

If you want to remove a "single line" and not an entire part, set your pick tool to lines instead of parts, and pick the line, right click and change visibility.
If visibility is unavailable, you may have accidently selected the view as well, zoom out and see if the view has a selection set rectangle, if so, "shift select" the view to remove it from the selection, then the visibility option should be available.
