Projected geometry goes awry

When changing an extrusion a little deeper (a shelled pan shape), another extruded feature (inside lip based on an offset of projected geometry) looses it's shape & becomes something very different (bad). See files in CF I assume feature adaptivity here would be the answer but how do you establish adaptivity to projected geometry projected from the edges? Is this correct behavior otherwise? Gary, For some reason, I don't see the dataset in CF. Would you mind checking to see that it is there? The file got stuck in my outbox for some reason. It's 2.5 MB zipped file. I get a message in Outlook Express that file must be no larger than about 1.5 MB (see below). Outlook Express could not post your message. Subject 'Projected geometry goes awry ', Account: 'discussion.AutoDesk.com', Server: 'discussion.AutoDesk.com', Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '441 Articles may not be larger than 1572864 bytes', Port: 119, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 441, Error Number: 0x800CCCA9 Is this a new restriction on the CF NG server? Strange since there 16MB files posted in CF. Gary I had to split Walts 1.24 MB zip into 2 zips in order to post it. Since the new Newsgroup software there has been a 1MB limit. To be honest I wasn't aware it affected NNTP until today. I will bring it up with those that have control but in the mean time, either try to split it into under 1 mb zips or maybe you could send it directly to Hugh? -- Kent Autodesk Discussion Group Facilitator "Gary Cross" wrote in message news:406c67e6 > > Outlook Express could not post your message.
