Problems applying torque to an adapter, wont mesh

I am trying to apply a torque to an adapter to replicte it being driven.  I have constrained it and when I add the welds and simulate, it freezes at the 'computing mesh' stage

Can You help?

Hi Steve,

Unfortunately, this is a known issue in our geometry kernal that couldn't be addressed in the R2012 RTM (release) build.  However, it is fixed in Sp1.

The issue lies in the "full around" circular weld.  Please do the following:

1)  Ensure that you have R2012_SP1 installed

2)  Do a (Manage tab) rebuild-all => this will remove the 'badness' from the weld

3)  Mesh

  It should mesh successfully.

I hope this does the trick!  Please let us know if you have any additional questions, comments or suggestions.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.
