Pro/E to Inventor....again

Not sure if this has been asked already or not. If so I apologize for
re-asking it.

What is the latest version of Pro/E files that can be opened in Inventor 7?

I´have a similar problem, and this is what they said to me, i hope this can help you.

"if the prt file is from version 19 or earlier of ProE you can just open it
in Inventor. In the file open dialog use the dropdown list and switch the
file type to prt.

If the prt file is from a newer version of ProE then you either need to use
a translator service or have the person that made the file send you a Step
file instead."

According to IV help, it is 20 and earlier...

"You can open Pro/ENGINEER files created in releases prior to release 21.
Only solid geometry is imported. The Autodesk Inventor files will not
contain the Pro/ENGINEER sketches, constraints, features, or design
history."

Thanks Brian. When I posted last night I couldn't remember if 20 was the last one or if
it was the first one that couldn't. I Should have checked before posting.
