There is some association between prints and view representations i am missing.
My typical process is:
Build a model
Create a representation
Lock the representation
Create a print from that representation
Create a new representation and continue to work on the model
When i go back to the original print there is parts flying everywhere (see attached picture - hope you get a kick out of it)
Thank you

UNCONSTRAINED PARTS in your assembly. I get that in a IDW of my assembly when I insert a part be for constraining it to the main assembly. Once constrained it SHOULD be correct.
Perhaps the missing thing is the associative link to that View Representation. When you create the view on your drawing, and choose the View Representation, make sure to also check the Associative link checkbox. You can Edit View on views already placed and check that box.
If you've already done that, then Inventor isn't working the way it's supposed to.
And please, always, tell us what version of Inventor you're using in the first post.
