Presentation will not open after removing part from assy.

I have an assembly file. I created a presentation file from
it and a drawing with ballons & parts list. I did not open this file for a few weeks, in the mean time some components
were removed from the assembly & some new ones were added.
Now the Presentation & the Idw will not open. It asks for me
to open assy. file & resolve components. The components in question are obsolete because they were renamed & replaced
in the assy. Is there a fix for this? Its hard to believe
that the presentation & drawing will now have to be recreated all over again because I replaced some components
in the assy.

Thanks Don

I can not open the drawing that was created from the
presentation file.

Open the assembly and make sure there are no resolve errors. Select the
parts that were renamed and "replace part" with itself. Do the same on
the parts that were added. Your constraints shouldn't be lost because
you are replacing the part with itself. Save the file but do not close.
Open the IPN file and save but do not close. Now open the IDW.

This usually works unless you have a part that has errors in it.
