Photorealistic rendering, VRML and Inventor

Do any VRML translators support Inventor textures? Is there a good photo-realistic rendering package that has a freeware viewer or that supports VRML? My end goal is to start with an Inventor assembly and produce an easy to distribute 3D representation of a new product which allows any CAD ignorant person to zoom and rotate the model. Any advice, especially freeware/shareware products is appreciated. Thanks.

VRML is particularly handy if you want to do
walk-thrus of your assembly. You may have to export your models to a VRML
creation program then apply your textures and other VRML features there.
Otherwise there are a number of free viewers available with other advantages.
