Pattern visibility

Hi!

Can anybody explain to me why if in .iam view representation I make "component patterns" invisible, thay still on .idw drawing are visible, and worse part is that I can not turn off visibility manually in browser. Please see attach.

Thank you for your time 🙂

If I remember correctly - it is not enough just to turn the visibility of the pattern off. You have to expand the Pattern node and turn the visibility of the members off as well.

Igor.

Better yet - make sure the drawing view is associative to the assembly. Here is a snap shot of what to look for.

Igor.

I've had this same issue with IV 2012 SP2.  They release a hotfix to correct the issue for 2012, but not sure about 2013.

Hi!

Thanks for answer. Yes - it is checked. I think it is by default always checked.

I do not want to expand pattern - it make assemblys list full of not useful information 😞

Спасибо за ответ! 🙂

Then it is probably a bug in the latest release of IV. In IV2010 it works - as expected.

Best Regards,

Igor.

I am not able to reproduce this using simple assembly that I have created to test this. I've uploaded my test files to this post. I'm think you may be in a Master View Representation or perhaps the View Representation is Locked

Please see the attachments for clarification.
