I would like to be able to use the occurrence name of parts in a Parts List for use as a schedule of openings. (The occurrence name is the name in the browser bar and on the occurrence tab in iProperties)
If this is possible, instead of having a separate part for an inlet and outlet, I could change the occurrence name and it would keep the part list current and help distinguish between parts in an assembly.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
There is currently no automated mechanism provided for this behavior.
Occurrence-based identifiers is something we're looking to provide as a
future enhancement.
