Parameter equation assistance needed

Could someone please clue me in to what's going on here. I did some searching, but didn't find this particular situation.
I expected Test1 to equal 1, all units are inch, and adding "in" in the formula gives "unable to parse" error.
Why doesn't Test2 = 1 at least! (based on model parameters...)
Thanks,
Ken

ps: any meaning to the formula colors - red or black?

I think you'll find that Test 1, 2 & 4 should be changed to Unitless. At
present they have the Unit of In.

Thanks for the response. I tried the unitless idea as in the attached, same results. The Test1 formula was red and shows the warning when selected. I'm still at a loss.

test 1 is in/in=ul
solution *1in

test 2 is the same

test 3 is in/in * in = in

test 4 is in/in * ul = ul

Thanks, that's how it works, in/in would leave ul as the result.
