am not sure you boys know about this, but Adobe Acrobat allow indexing and
catalog of text of all your PDF Inventor Files.
I have over 2500 drawings that I printed to PDF then Indexed with Adobe
Acrobat. Acrobat creates a .PDX file in which I linked in to our entire plant
on our Intranet. Plant employees can then type in a part number in Adobe
Reader and pull search results PDF drawings in which that specific text is
located. Many companys spend 1000's of dollars on recalling information
quickly. Acrobat allows this ability which out purchasing a lot of software
since you can search indexes used Adobe Reader. It's awesome and fast.
