Odd file extension...

Does anyone know what to do with a .cgm file?? it was supposed to be some cad data but i have never heard of that format... unless its a "computer graphic metafile" but thats oldschool...??? thanx in A.

A .cgm file is what we use in iDeas to make a file
for print. I don't think you'll be able to make it a CAD file, I think its a
file like a .jpg

Yes, CGM is "Computer Graphic Metafile" and, yes, it is an OLD vector graphics file format. I do know that ProE can convert such files to dwg. I can help you with that if needed.
