Nvida -vs- FireGL

Some important points from this regarding hyperthreading, XP -vs- 2K, AGP8X etc.

If they would have tested it on a board that
actually had 8xAGP maybe there would be a performance difference. Or did I miss
something?

That mobo DOES NOT support AGP 8x!

They did the AGP4X vs. AGP8X on the E7205 chipset.

Someone should notify Tom's Hardware.

 

Gee, I wonder why it didn't do any
better.......

 

I am curious if the 8x agp will improve things that
much?  I am considering building a 8x agp system with the 980 card but
question if its worth the extra $$
