I have a fresh installation of Plant 3D Design Suite, standalone Desktop setup. In Inventor, under a default project, I have no Place from Content Center option. Place Component takes me to a dialog box and no folder I have tried has worked.
We have installed, using same procedure, on two other computers in our office and both work fine out of the box.
Any help appreciated,
Have now gotten the Place from Content Center dropdown along with the Place button, but nothing happens when I try to place from there, and right-clicking to Place Component only takes me to the dialog box.
If you say the same type of install procedures were followed on other stations and they work fine, I'd consider maybe this install may have gone bad?
Have you tried to perform an Repair Install yet?
I have done a Repair. No change.
If I run as administrator I get the drop-down option but no Content Center loads, and the default CC location does not find a library. Add-in Manager shows Auto load.
Do you have the Libraries selected in your Project File?
Lower RH icon just above the "Done" is a drop-down Icon. It will take you to a secondary screen to select your CC Libraries. This allows you to have different Libraries for differnt Projects.
There is no dropdown or button in that location. Something is obviously wrong with the installation, but this is attempt #3 on my machine, and it hasn't worked yet. 2 other W7 machines (one identical to mine, one old laptop) have no issues.
Is there anything that having Civil 3D (2011, 12, and 13) and also Map 3D, Microstation could affect? What about the trial version of Inventor Fusion (which was uninstalled before the Plant 3D installation)?
It's a funny button, you need to get get it to select it, so it drops down and then select the dropped down button
