New file icon issue

When using DWG as the default drawing filetype, I am missing the icon in the new file drop down

Not a show stopper, but should be an easy fix...

Do you have a template named "standard.dwg" in the same file location as the other "standard" files?

I jhave both Standard.IDW & Standard.DWG in my Template location.

In fact, I have been using the DWG template since installing 2013. The template works, Inventor just doesn't show the icon

I switched to .dwg (usually use idw) to try, but the icon shows for me.

Maybe reboot, or check if project points to the proper location.

Hope you can get it fixed, i hardly use that dropdown so i don't know too much about it.

Hi,

Same problem for me,

once I switched to dwg format in application settings under drawing tab, it screwed the icon the same way you have illustrated up there. to double check, I switched back to idw and it fixed it. so obviously a bug or something, not a show stopper but nice to have the icon back.

Thanks for your support

Sincerely

Ali
