New computer upgrade

Hi all,

I am a single user inventor user for my company, and I am upgrading computers. I do not use Vault, and all my projects are saved to my hard drive  in single user projects. Anyone have any tips on transfering the files as seemlessly as possible? Is it as simple as copying and pasting the entire directory the inventor files are stored in?

Thanks in advance.

Should be fine with a simple copy and paste ... keeping the sames file/folder/project structure. That's what we do when we have to change out a pc or hard drive.. Keep your old pc around for a week or two in case you have any issues and miss a file etc ..

If you do not have an external hard drive or network drive - get one immediately.

You should be backing your work every day.
