Need help interpreting Sketch in Textbook...New(ish) to Inventor.

Hi All,

I need help interpreting a sketch for a homework assignment. Attached is an image of what I need help with. I have circled or pointed to the points i need help with.

in A- i cant tell if the rectangular part exceeds in length that of the curvy base.

In part B- I'm not sure how to get this part to extrude out. Where should I work from?

In part C- I dont know what length this should be or if it matters.

I'm reletively new to Inventor and am simply having an issue with seeing the ways in which to do things.

Just incase it matters, I am using Inventor 2011.

Thanks for your help.

A.) Height: what is 4-3.25? Depth: what is 2+1
B.)  I would start in Front

attach what you have attempted so far.

C.) Doesn't matter - when you extrude cut the 30° and the triangle formed from B of your questions - it will come out to whatever it comes out to.

(see attached)

As soon as you attach your ipt file here - I can start helping you the way I created the part (about 15 minutes of work).
