I've got a question on how Inv names it's standard content.
I've sent an assy file to a client several months ago with some standard content parts (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.). They are now converting everything to Pro-E and are having trouble figuring out which fasteners to substitute for the ones I have inserted. I believe the s. c. files are named according to the standard convention from which they are taken - ie ANSI bolts are named according to the ANSI standard. Am I correct in thinking this?
If this is the case, they just need an ANSI catalog to look up the part number.
Don't ask me why they can't just look up the size on the assy drawing and substitute that way!!
Thanks,
Angus
