Mystery Drawing Reference

I have an IDW file that's referencing 2 different IPT files and I can't figure out why 1 is being referenced.  There are no drawing views created from it and I don't see anything else in the tree that would seem to reference it.  When I rename the unintended part, the drawing opens without problems by skipping the Resolve Link dialog...but I can't save it.  Still nothing in the tree or anywhere indicates what this reference is for.  Not the "correct" IPT file...not the views!  Anyone have any idea as to how I can simply break the reference to the unintended part?

is it possible one ipt is derived into the other?

Nope...that was my first thought.  Nothing's derived.  Thanks for asking, though.

Hi egriswold,

What happens if rather than skipping the link, you resolve it to the intended part?

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,

That was just too wacky of an idea not to try...and it brilliantly worked!  Who'da thunk it?  Dude, you are the man!

Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll keep that one in the ol' memory rolodex.
