Multiple Subassemblies - Parameters need to Control Each not All

I would like to insert 2 or more of the same subassemblies into an assembly, yet have each subassembly a different size.

When I do this currently when I change the parameter for one of the subassemblies all the subassemblies are changed.

I am quite new to Inventor, it seems as if this is should be feasible, yet if it is not what is another way to accomplish this.

Thanks

Dan

If you have two of the same thing, and you change one, they cannot continue to be the same thing. You need to do a save as on the sub asembly that you have need to be different, then do a replace comonent in the top level assembly so that it will reference the new component.

What you are trying to tell Inventor is that A=1, B=2, and A=B.
