Motor City User Group Innagural Meeting

I have to give Jason Ruge props for showing up at our first meeting last night.
Under certain hellfire, he came in on his own volition and discussed the Drawing
Manager with a bunch of users. It's people like him, Gary, etc., etc., that keep
our hopes in Adesk alive. Thanks.

Thanks Dave!
It was really good to put a face to the name.

I think it was a good start to what I hope becomes a really great Inventor
Users group.

BTW, seeing you there did remind me of something. I was going to send you a
translated part from CATIA a few months ago. I was never able to get the dataset
small enough to send through this group, though, then I just got busy. The
problem was lines turning to the wrong style after going precise (hidden instead
of solid and vice-versa). I know this has been talked about a bit. Did you still
want to look at that part?

What kind of turn-out did you get Dave?

If you can get me the stp/sat file pretranslated, the ipt, and the idw I
would love to see them.

How about a gallery where we all could upload pictures of ourselves?

Like you said, it would be nice to put faces to the names in this NG...

Any takers?

It could very easily be done. If there is enough interest I'll be happy to
host it.

Sean - I think maybe it'll get more hits than your 'Inventor World Cup
challenge' page did...;-)
