Hi,
I had search on the forum before posting this issue.
At the begenning I was thinking that it was just to RMB and select show hidden edged in my drawing but in fact not.
The model look like this :
And in the drawing I have some missing lines :
I tried to display the missing part in a separate drawing and it's OK.
I use Inventor 2011.
Is there any patch which could solve this issue?
Many thanks.
Hi,
Is the hardware that is shown as missing made of resolved solids or surfaces? This looks like what happens when you try to use IGES files in Inventor.
now that would be a good catch if you are right.. and I believe you are.. Be nice if we was told all information...
In our company we are using good quality hardware like NVidia Quadro FX graphics cards with the latest updated drivers. We are working with windows 7 64-bit edition.
I have experienced this error on different PCs here so for me it's not a hardware configuration. I had tested on several PC this morning and I confirm that it's not a hardware problem.
Regarding the Inventor information:
Inventor release 2011 SP2 build 309 64-bits edition.
I apologise to have forget those important details at the beginning 🙂
I had already tried the interference edge option and nothing changes.
Many thanks for your support.
Hi John,
could you share/upload the particular dataset so we can investigate?
Thanks,
Jozef

Hi,
Good to know...
This meen there is probably no problem with the file but much more with my set up OR Inventor 2011.
I will investigate if there is any available patch to solve this issue.
Thanks,
Yes the same pack patch tomato tamoto lol
Its call a patch in other software I use and forgot Autodesk calls theirs pack..
So do you?
Your help was great jletcher. You gave me the right way to continue to investigate.
I guess a patch should exist to correct this bug for inventor 2011.
Maybe I should try to get in contact with an Autodesk customer service or customer support.
One Kudos for you 😄
