Missing font squares in all Inventor menus

One of the designers at our office has problems with what I believe is a missing font. We tried to reinstall Inventor but it did not solve the problem. Then we reinstalled the entire machine but the problem came back.

See attached picture to see what it looks like.

Any idea on what can be causing this and how to fix it? What is the name of the font used in Inventors menus?

I'm having a similar issue, with no text showing up on the buttons. Check out the following thread:

http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Inventor/blank-ribbon-amp-no-text-in-Inventor-screen/m-p/2898...

My IT people say they are going to create a new, clean profile for me. We'll see if that works.

Tried the suggestions in the thread.

- Changed font from Tahoma to Arial, did not resolve.

- Updated driver for the Quadro FX3500, did not resolve.

- Tried deleting RibbonUICustomization.xml, did not resolve.

- Switched to Classic interface, text was shown. Switched back to ribbon UI, the text was squares again.

Gonna go with classic interface but will keep an eye on this thread so please post suggestions.

Spoiler

Well it took IT 2 weeks to come and make me a new profile, but that in fact did solve my problem and a few others I discovered since the ribbon button problem. I also found that my "corrupt" profile was preventing me from accessing Content Center. Our application specialist suspects that when my profile was copied from my old computer (32 bit) to my new computer (64 bit) that the conflict was created. Hope this helps others as well.

We reinstalled the entire machine to resolve this issue.
