Missing Pattern Dialogue In Mould Design

Inventor Pro 2013 SP 1.1

Hi, I’m suing the Mould Design feature of Inventor Professional and need to have four cavities for this mould. When I try to use the pattern function nothing happens. I look at the Wiki help and it says that I have to enter values for X direction X distance etc, but this dialogue box does not appear.

How can I get the box to appear?

Thanks in Advance.

Can you see Pattern command from the attached picture?  I also installed 2013 SP1.1 and have this command.

Thanks,

You don't see the dialog box... ... but do you see the tool on your screen?

Hi cmharb,

How to get a missing dialog box back:

  • start the tool that exhibits the problem
  • press ALT + Space-bar on the keyboard
  • then press the M key (M for move)
This is what happens off screen

  • then Immediately press any of the arrow keys on the keyboard
  • finally, move your mouse around and the dialog box will now be attached to your cursor allowing you to drag it back on screen, just click to drop it in place.

I hope this helps.

It seems the dialog out of the screen.  Can you have a try to adjust your screen resolution to lower, such as 1680x1050?

Thanks for all your help

The Alt-Space >m arrows keys fixed it.
