May I ask about "a pillar of eccentric circle" ?

Hi there,

I am trying to draw a structure like in the structure.jpg.

But  what I could only draw is just like a structure in cartridge.ipt.

There was no other choice except using circle.

Is there a way to make a pillar of eccentric circle?

Thanks for your helps!

Your JPG shows two circles of equal diameter at two different centers so why are you only drawing a single circle.

Draw the first circle at the Origin, Create a horizontal sketch line the distance of the offset of the two circles and create your second circle at the end of the line. Create a couple of vertical lines and use the trim.

This simple sketch should be covered in your first couple of days classes.

Your profiles in the sketch are not fully constrained. The only item that is constrained is the circle.

Hi!

You can try do this with the tool "Slot", option center to center. New sketch tool in Inventor 2014.

Set your visual style to Shaded with Edges (should obviously be the default in my opinion).

I recommend that you set aside this project for a day or two and go through these
