Making a 12 point star

Can anyone help me make the 12point star like the one on the top of the socket?

Its already modeled in there.. Do you not know how that was done or something? Do you know how to go back and look at how features were created?

In that extrusion2 is making the first point then a circular pattern makes the rest..Then a fillet to make it look pretty..

One could just sketch all 12 points too..

BUT personally I would have done it with 2 x 6 sided polygons then extrude (see attached)
