Leap Motion1

Just curious if anyone has seen this device coming soon? It could replace 3d mice, mice, keyboards, and touchscreens. Check it out. I am not a programmer myself so I was hoping someone from Autodesk or one of you programmers to sign up for SDK so we can get this device to work with Inventor! Another amazing thing is you can pre-order it for only $70. This is a dream come true.

Here is the link.

Sometimes you just need a good old reboot.

Has anyone within AKSK even gone so far as to (sorry) have a look at this, with the intention of integrating drivers?

I am eagerly awaiting delivery of my pre-ordered unit, and am very keen to see what can be done here.

Check out few of the videos using Autodesk. It is a good start!

Looking forward to using this with Inventor... More likely no more 3d mouse and standard mouse...

Cool!

Righto.  I got mine yesterday (delivered on Monday 22, in Australia).

Is there any hope for a public release of drivers for Inventor??

Got mine as well. Hoping someone got something going for the driver on LM.

That looks pretty tiring to me. Just a few seconds in and you could see his arm starting to droop. How does it work for you in other applications?

Imagine conducting a symphony orchestra for 8 hours a day.  Thanks, I'll pass.  As an occasional tool?  Sure.
