Keeping view orientation in drawings!

When you have a view on a .idw drawing, then you change the model somehow and the view rotates off kilter.  So you go into "Change View Orientation", Choose a plane or face to align it to, and its back to where it needs to be.

My question is this.  How can I get the view to remain looking at the specified plane or face no matter what?

I have a base model that I change for jobs and every time, I have to go back into certain parts and re-define the plane that I want to be looking at.

Thank you.

Great!  But then when I change my model and the part moves in relationship to the plane, I have to do it all over again.

Hi Chris,

this is not supported currently. I have found this requirement was already logged (#1483984). Please, feel free to add it to IdeaStation as well.

Thanks

Ladislav

Sounds good.  As long as somebody knows about it.

Thanks
