Keep adobe from opening when exporting pdf

Is there a way to keep adobe from opening after 'save copy as' to a pdf?

I think this is set in the print settings dialogue.
There is usually a tick box that says something like "open in Acrobat after save".

This maybe only when using a pdf printer, I'm not sure if it's the same when save copy as, but it would seem logical to have a similar setup.

Use Export -> PDF

It seems to work for me, I think it has to do with your Adobe Distiller settings too, but don't quote me on that.

"Export to PDF" shares the "Open file automatically" switch with "Export to DWF", you can find this switch through "Export"->"Export to DWF" ->"Display Published File in Viewer".
