I ran the test just as eplained to do. I even checked the image of the
default settings that someone put up in the cust. file area and they
matched what I had set. Is is mainboard specific? I have an Asus
P4B533 if that makes a difference?

Hidden = 12.2 FPS
Wireframe = 20.8 FPS
Multiple Windows = 31.4 FPS
Average = 23.5 FPS

Rough

Re: Inventor6 Graphics Benchmark

11-29-2002 01:22 AM in reply to: *Shelter, Andy
Dual PIII 700MHz, 1GB, Gloria III, 1600 x 1200, NT4 SP6a.
Inventor 6 SP1

Shaded = 10.6 FPS
Hidden = 3.9 FPS
Wireframe = 6.6 FPS
Multiple Windows = 11.2 FPS
Average = 8.1 FPS

at 1280 x 1024 resolution

Shaded = 11.5 FPS
Hidden = 4.5 FPS
Wireframe = 7.2 FPS
Multiple Windows = 11.7 FPS
Average = 8.7 FPS

Not very impressive!

I ran it a third time with Task Manager running and found that only one processor was in use and it was fully utilized. This may indicate that the graphics card is not the bottleneck. I am surprised that the system processor is doing so much of what should be done by the graphics processor. Any ideas?

Some of these numbers just don't feel right! Should include
driver version with video make model.

Inventor6 Grapics Benchmark /Fresh Boot
P41.9-1Gddr266 / W2k-sp2 / pny-Q4-750xgl-4103
11/30/02 12:38:33 PM
Shaded = 26.1 FPS
Hidden = 9 FPS
Wireframe = 17.1 FPS
Multiple Windows = 27.7 FPS
Average = 20 FPS

I've placed a graphic of the results so far in CF under the original
