Inventor part in acad

I have a panel formed with sheet metal.
The panel is made with on one side a side angle.
Now I place the panel in acad order from there to dimensioning.
I place it with the function Base under Layout and place the Inventor part.
Now I want place a dimension from the intersection of the angled site of the right side.
The problem is that I can't snap the intersection of the angled site and the right side.
I've tried with various snap options but a continuation of the angled site will not be accepted.
Is there a possibility to the intersection of the oblique and straight side to snap.

The only way to snap is in an 90 degree angle.

Hi! Could you attach the part here or send it to me via email? I would like to take a closer look and see where the exact problem is.

Thanks!
