Care to share c.henry? I admint I didn't give it a college try as I need them for customers backups and emergencies more than most users, but when I tried to flash it I got the same error as recorded by the OP.
Sorry, but I'm not able to format the stick in Linux either. Is there something I'm missing??
Hi. Have anyone figured out how to do format this stick?
I was thinking the same about this. Yes, I may need it to reinstall, but next year, this memory stick will be completely useless because we are on subscription.
You know, I was wondering about this last year when I could not reuse my DVD's for 2011.
I think the energy footprint on one USB stick is far less than 7 DVD's and a plastic case, not to mention shipping costs.
The USB stick is much better than the DVD . It's just that throwing something that could / should be easy to reuse and cost about 100$ to buy is stupid..
You can always change your subscription preference to download only. I suspect that the footprint for a write-protect Thumb-Drive is less than all the DVD's as well as the shipping weight of the larger package for the DVD's over the Thumb-Drive.
