Inventor magazines

Are there any Inventor magazines out there beside Cadalyst? I would like to
subscribe to some if there are.

Autodesk used to publish Mechanical Solutions, but I heard the name changed
to something else, and i have forgotten what it is. I just did a quick
search in the news group, I found a post I put up called "mechanical
solutions magazine'. The name, so I've been told, has changed to
Manufacturing Solutions. Still, I haven't been able to find that either. It
was published quarterly. Did anyone recieve the Fall 2002, Winter 2002 or
spring 2003 issues?

I just sent off for a subscription request. I know in the past Drew used to
have a pdf of the Mechanical Solutions displayed at mymcad. Was this when
Autodesk still published it? Is Vestcom affiliated with Autodesk, or are
they an indepent publisher?

It says "An Autodesk publication" across the top of the front cover.
But then it also says "The Independant Resouce for Autodesk Manufacturing
Users" so who knows.
I posted a jpg of the front cover in the CF for you to see, "MS cover"

my last issue was winter 2002 and it was listing that they will also have a
digital version starting in March 2003 with this sign up page listed
www.autodesk.com/signup I did sign up but nothing yet. magazine does have
some helpful things in it but for most part just I would use the words
propaganda or marketing hype, but as I said I did sign up for the digital
copy. Publisher looks to be Penton Media which which i think publishes a lot
of engineering mags and looks like they publish for Autodesk

Hi Mark,
The link took me to Manufacturing Solutions web page, but there is no link
to sign up. I must be missing something.

no unless I am missing it too. when the winter issue first came out there
was no link and when I called both my vendor and Autodesk they pleaded
ignorant, of both the magazine and the web page. That was end of Feb.,
first week or two of march I was able to find the sign up at this address.
that was before the reorganization of Autodesk's web site in mid march. Best
I can say is e-mail or call and see what they say, I now want to know if it
will be published or what?
