Inventor export to mudbox extension

I try to import any Inventor file into Mudbox, but Inventor can't simply make a file which can be imported to Mudbox?

I am using the Product Design Suite 2014, and I guess there should be somewhere a link between Inventor > Mudbox to handle something?

Anyone a suggestion for me?

Going from Inventor to Mudbox directly would be of very limited utility, since the textures that you create in Mudbox would not be able to come back to Inventor.

The proper workflow for this would be to go from Inventor to Max, and then you (as I understand it, anyway) send the model to Mudbox to create your textures, then go back to Max for rendering.
