I have recently had Inventor installed and replaced my Autocad 14 .
I can open my drawings but will not let me make any changes it is like a read only or view file
Do i need to convert my old autocad files to a diferent format ?
Inventor is a solid modeling program, it was not really meant to directly replace Autocad, which is generally a 2D drafting system. It looks like you can insert and edit attributes of blocks that are already defined in the drawing in Autocad,... but can't really do much more with them.
