Inventor and Windows XP

Does anyone run IV on Windows XP. We are runnning 2K and are thinking about upgrading to XP. If you are, is there any known issues I should be aware of? Thanx, MikeG

In my opinion, XP is better for IV than
2000, at least with big assemblies using large paging files.

Lot of people are using XP. No problems here. Some people say it is slower in certain
areas, but I haven't seen it personally.

Thanx Kent, I kinda figured there wouldn't be any problems. But figured I'd better ask. Thanx again, Mikeg

I just changed (~2 weeks) from my old computer with Windows 2000 to a new
one with XP Pro. I have had no problems at all. It seems much faster, but
that is probably due to the faster processor of the new computer. I am
using SP1 on the XP install.

Also consider: "Is my hardware powerful enough to
efficiently run XP?"

I would guess that many folks try to install XP on
machines that don't have enough RAM and processing power and then wonder why
Inventor doesn't perform better.
